Join the South African Institute of Tax Professionals for our new monthly webinar series – Tax Practice: On the Move.

With these webinars, we aim to bring to you, the Tax Practitioner, the latest tax practice news and SARS information in succinct, interactive, one-hour webinars. Each monthly session will feature two parts: 

• Segment 1: Tax news
• Segment 2: A specialist panel discussion on various trending topics

 To avoid connectivity problems, guest speakers will join us “in studio” to pre-record the webinar. However, to keep it interactive, the guest speaker(s) will join us during the broadcast to answer your questions in the chat function (not available on YouTube).

• SARS legal and policy

Segment 2: A specialist panel discussion on Filing Season 2020 for individual taxpayers

• SARS’ new approach to Filing Season: Where did it originate and what can we expect?
• The three phases of Filing Season 2020: A practical breakdown
• Adapting: Addressing fees, marketing, new procedures, and positioning from a Tax Practitioner’s point of view
• Risks and concerns: Discussing areas of concern regarding certain types of tax returns and the related risks 

Speakers: Doné Howell and Nicoline Benzien, Tax Experts from BDO, in discussion with Beatrie Gouws from SAIT. 

Seats are limited to 1000 delegates per session, so be sure to book in advance. Tax Practice: On the Move, is a free benefit to SAIT members. 

If you cannot make it to a live session, a downloadable podcast will be made available to listen to while you are on the move.

Payments & Cancellations
 

• All payments must be made by EFT or by credit card, at least 3 working days before commencement of an event.
• Kindly note that should payment not be received 2 days after the event, legal action will be taken
• Proof of payment will be requested at registration, if payment does not reflect on SAIT`s bank account.
• Only written notice of cancellation will be recognized.
• Conditions:
  • If the cancellation occurs more than 4 working days prior to the event no cancellation fee will be charged.
  • If the cancellation occurs less than 4 working days prior to the event a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
• Delegates who book and fail to attend will be liable for the full event fee.
• SAIT`s liability in the case of an event being cancelled will be limited to a refund or credit of the event fee.
